World Environment Day, June 5
Chandra Foundation along with the collaboration of non-governmental stakeholders celebrated world environment day on June 5 under the theme 'Beat Plastic Pollution'. On the day, it is discussed on how we can make changes in our everyday lives to reduce the heavy burden of plastic pollution on our natural places, our wildlife, and our own health. The major aim of the day is to raise awareness of environmental issues and encourage people to combat the great environmental challenges of our time.
Also, the day was celebrated participating in rallies, distribution of pamphlets and flyers.
