International Women’s Day, March 8
Chandra Foundation celebrated International Women’s day on March 8 that aims to address the women’s right and equality. On the auspicious occasion of women’s day there was participation of women from various cultural and ethnic groups and discussion on the boundaries, struggle of many Decade for justice, peace, equality, development, equal opportunity. International women’s day is all about knowing everyone must work in their own way for changing the ugly face of society. The most important thing that has been addressed in the program is the work that still needs to be done to fill that gap completely that had existed from ages. Besides, the day was celebrated the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
